Holy Trinity has been firmly established in the heart of Marlow since the early nineteenth century and on its current site since 1913. Trinity is the only junior school in the town and there are two main feeder schools: Marlow Church of England Infant School (also known as “Sandygate”) and Little Marlow C of E School. There are very strong links between the three schools and pupils from the two infant schools who transfer to Trinity at the end of key stage 1 benefit from a continuous church primary education.
School closes today at 1:30pm. We will see you all again after the holidays on Thursday 5th January.
Wear a Christmas jumper or jazz up an everyday jumper with tinsel and gift tags this Friday, 16th, as a thank you for returning your Children’s Society Christingle Collection Candles. Uniform as normal apart from the jumper.
Thanks to your amazing generosity, we have collected £593.20 from the Carol Service retiring collections. This will be presented to The Mustard Seed Club which runs every Tuesday at All Saints, High Wycombe and provides friendship, acceptance and a meal for 30 homeless and vulnerable houses guests.
Please can children arrive at 7:15pm in school uniform. They do not wear their jumpers so if you have a white vest/T-shirt for them to wear underneath their school shirt this will help to keep them warm. If you are not attending the Carol Service, they should be finished between 8:30 and 8:45pm.
We have raised £417.11 for Children in Need and had wonderfully “spotty” time doing it!
Here are the words (plus music Just Close Your Eyes) to the choir carols if you would like to practise at home
With help from Marlow Town Council, we enjoyed a week of democracy with canvassing, posters, flyers, speeches and casting our votes in the polling station.
